My chosen object for this assignment was a lantern designed to hold a tealight with panels that could be unlatched and swung open to allow access. 

I am proud of myself for replicating the design successfully. While the star engravings on the glass are slightly larger than that of the model, I was pleasantly surprised that my experiment worked to produce the shape correctly.

I think that in future projects, I should investigate how to do a complete specification drawing​, especially one that shows how a part is meant to move.
